Does your GP know you are a Carer?
If you look after someone who is frail, elderly, ill or has a disability, you should let your doctor know. Please ask at reception for a form to fill in and return to the surgery . Other help and advice is available via Cheshire Carers Helpline 0800 085 0307. Phone lines are open 10am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday .
New Flu Clinics
Its that time of year again, time to start thinking about flu and getting vaccinated . You are eligible for a free flu vaccination if you are among the following at-risk groups
- Aged 65 years and over
- All pregnant women
- People living in long-stay residential care homes or other long-stay care facilities
- People who are carers
- Those suffering from a serious medical condition such as: chronic respiratory disease; chronic heart disease; chronic kidney disease; chronic liver disease ; chronic neurological disease; diabetes; a weakened immune system due to disease (HIV/AIDS) or treatment (cancer)
If you are unsure whether or not you qualify for a free flu vaccination please contact the surgery.
