We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system. Appointments can be booked by telephone, coming into the surgery or online. To use the online booking service you will need to register by collecting a registration form (in person for security reasons) from the practice. You must be 16 or over to use this service.
Once registered you can use the link below to book a routine appointment with a doctor or nurse by following the instructions on the form.
At present the system cannot be used to book emergency appointments.
We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
We operate a Nurse triage system for on the day appointment requests. You will be asked for a few details by the nurse in order to assess your needs. You may be offered advice or be invited to attend the surgery to see either a doctor, a nurse or directed to the appropriate health care professional to suit your needs. The triage system will ensure the smooth running of the appointments system and will aid access to both doctors and nurses. We would like to remind patients to contact the surgery prior to attending as failure to do so may result in a long wait.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 10am. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery. The doctor will not be able to visit until surgery has finished which means that you could be waiting some time. If you are mobile it may be better for you to come into the surgery to be seen.
